NCCI Approves Bylaw Amendments

WEST HARTFORD, CT (December 15, 2011) – The National Consortium for Continuous Improvement in Higher Education (NCCI) Board of Directors has approved a series of amendments intended to update the Association’s Bylaws and allow for individuals to join the organization.

“NCCI benefits from wide participation by professionals whose work is focused on quality improvement, change management and innovation in higher education,” said President Kathryn Burkgren, who is the Director of Organizational Development for Faculty & Staff at Cornell University. “The Board of Directors recognizes that a number of individuals are currently unable to participate in NCC without the financial support of their institutions. This bylaw change will make it easier for individuals to participate in NCCI.”

Highlights include amendments that:

Subcommittee members are: Gould, Provost and Chief Academic Officer at Fort Hays State University; Maury Cotter, Director of Strategic Planning & Quality Improvement University of Wisconsin – Madison; John Dew, Senior Vice Chancellor at Troy University; and Karen Kusler, Director of Instructional Assessment at Tarrant County College.

The Bylaw amendments take effect immediately.
