NCCI Professional Development Series

NCCI is now offering online professional development programs that will explore a common theme. Keeping your needs in mind, we’re working to create immersive experiences for you to learn timely and meaningful information, cultivate this knowledge into action, and build networks you can call on – for yourself and your institution. As you continue to learn new skills and adapt to new environments, our network of members and thought leaders serves as a powerful resource to support each other in unique and purposeful ways.

You can register for one, two, or all of the sessions within a themed program depending on your interest. To achieve the program objectives, we encourage attendees to join as many sessions as possible.

The Fall 2022 Professional Development Series will focus on ways you can expand your inclusive leadership, encouraging you to think about how you can create spaces for colleagues and students to be their best selves. These sessions will explore values-based leadership, strategies for encouraging empathy, practicing cultural humility, and more.

Perhaps you are physically returning to your office full-time and navigating your institution’s COVID protocols. Maybe you are implementing a long-term hybrid model, exploring team dynamics and ways to work when some are in the office and others are remote. Regardless of what the ‘new normal’ will look like for you, emerging from the last 18 months of the pandemic will require us all to recalibrate as employees and leaders. Can we create not just a ‘new normal’, but a ‘better normal’ for ourselves, our teams, and our institutions?
